Whats the best setup stragedy for this fight? Just did it for the first time, cackle and his spells were one shotting people. Is it easier to kite or straight tank, and when should melee attack and WS him? Which jobs should I try and bring if i do this fight on blu or blm? Any help would be appreciated.

Umm that's the Dvergr fight that call weapon ? We didnt had any problem for this, we went, mnk, blu pld, rdm, rng, whm if my memory serves me well.
Mnk (with subtle blow equip where I can, rest is usual mnk equip) + pld on the dvergr, rng + blu taking care of adds, rdm + whm healing/debuffing people. We never had any problem, we got lucky tho cause he cast only 1 -ga during the whole fight and it was at like 5%.

Yeah that's the fight. Problem I had was him using cackle/spell which one hit killed people. My group wiped within the first 5 minutes lol.

Well for us it was a really smooth fight, never was in danger at all.
Rng + blu were killing stuff where they couldnt hit us and dvergr didnt cast any -ga before the last % so yeah :/ can't help much.

Meh, probably fought him in a bad mood, since he was AM and -aga spamming.

well he did a couple of AM, but AM arent really a problem if you have utsusemi (which you should have for the people on the Dvergr).

I've done this a few times, with varying success. Some of the stuff that helped:
- If you don't take a BLM, have melee save TP for clones. They are easy to kill, but can be annoying. Since gear and all is copied, have melee wear one set of dusk, and they are easy to kite as well. I always took a blm, and had blm kite/nuke the clone.
- Bring more than one mage. I really recommend blm and/or rdm/drk - especially with NIN tank, he has too many ga moves. Stun helped us a lot, especially after that wing move.
- Have a plan. Regardless of what it is. Have a plan on how to deal with the clones, how to deal with when your tank dies, how to deal with when your tank gets turned into a bat, etc.

lol I think your talking about the Bloody Rondo assualt with count dracula. I havent done that one yet, So far Ive just done black shuck, and atm stuck on King Goldemar, the demon skele flying around on a chair.
