Promy Mea Party QuestionFollow

I've always done Promy's with 2 SMNs, never more or less personally...

For Mea...I want to say we usually get 3 volleys of Astral Flow before it dies, but the last ones usually are overkill. We also have some melee's beating on it.

With 5 SMN's...I'd be surprised if the boss lived for all 5 to get a 2nd round off.

My concern is what will happen while the SMN's wait their timers out. Be ready with Animas :)

Dawg I didn't think about that timers so I'll make sure we have animas to take care of that.In response to Darrtt the issue is after waiting for ~2 hours for <Looking for members> and for ppl to get their equipment and animas and then X amount of time to make it through the promyvion, everyone gets impatient and no1 really takes the time to remember the order no matter how important I say it is. That's why I'm looking for a fool proof party setup that doesn't rely entirely on Animas. :)

When I ran my promies I just made sure everyone knew that I had my warp cudgel on me and would be using it in the spire if even 1 person didn't have animas. I always keep a couple extra recollections on a mule (in addition to my own) just in case the AH is out on the day we're doing the promy. Other meds I keep on hand are holy waters and poison potions.

Certain jobs really shine in promies (war/nin, smn, blu, rng) while others I always counted as 'free-rides' (nin, thf, blm, brd). I always aim to have at least 3 of the "good" jobs, a healer, and then have room for 2 of the less ideal jobs. I'm not saying that those are the only jobs, just that it certainly makes life easier. With that kind of party build and everyone using their animas you can make a whole pile of mistakes and still get the win. By the way I think I've gotten promy wins using every job in the game, but I always try to stick as closely as possible with the above strategy.
