I don't have details for you, and I'm sorry about that. But I think I understand what you are trying to do.

I used to do something similar in Bastok. I'd create a new character mule, send him 1 Oil and a specific amount of quest items (stackable). Then I would run a repeatable quest so many times, in order to gain the needed fame.... use the Oil for another quest to gain a Warp Scroll, send that scroll, all gil from the quests I did, and any leftover item stacks, back to my main. Triple check I didn't mess up, then delete mule and make a new char.

You might wanna use the features here on Alla to find "Quests & Missions by Area", find San'Doria, and look for repeatable quests. Maybe something like the Black Tiger Fang turn ins or some such (sry, not really familiar with that city). You might have to experiment with how many exact items are needed to raise each fame lvl. If you can handle it, the easiest way to get fame in cities is to do the missions. And redo them, in some cases. Since its much easier to switch nations, raise a little bit of gil, and switch nation to Sandy. Since each rank up, you get that rank times 10k gil, that will at least fund you to rank 5.

So, gather a friend or two, and start doing rank up missions!
