The Only the Best quest in Selbina will raise if I remember correctly Bastok, San Doria, and Jueno Fame. Windurst fame is seperate and Norg Fame is mainly in Norg.

yes i knew this, as Selbina is kinda neutral i think (As i have not yet been to far in the world) so it will boost fame in all 3 of the main citys i think?

but i want to know "where i buy" the millicorn from, not the AH as thats a rip off, as im sure that a NPC sells them for under 100gil (Traveling merchant perhaps?) thats what i need help with, in tracking the NPC down

thank you anyways

Millioncorn can be received from Gardening - best and cheapest. Pikko pots for the best results.

La Theine Cabbage is dropped by the rabbits outside of Selbina in the dunes and in La Theine, but you have to kill lots of them and they link.

The Moss is best to trade but this too is not easy to come by, best farming is done in The Boyada Tree on Old Goobbues (73-76). But also the goobbues in the Sanctuary of Zi-tah drop the moss.

I maxed out fame in the all cities except Norg, Norg is probably the hardest to get fame because the sheer number of repeating 2 possible quests will drive you nuts. What I did was take my THF enter Zehrun Mines and kill everything to get the soot to trade - this raise Bastok fame asap. Then head over to N. Gustaberg and farm like crazy the beechips on the hill in N. Gustaberg, Killer Bees/wasps (lvl 10) drop like 50%. The beechips to trade in windy. Then I went King R's Tomb - killed all the bats and gots tons of bat wings for Sandy. You also kill worms for flint too. Maxing out the 3 cities fame will automatically raise Jueno Fame but to boost Jueno I recommned doing the lamplighter quest a few times. Norg is time consuming - 4 yagudo necklace trading (Windy Woods) or 4 Zinc (Bastok Port) and lots of them like 180-200 to get fame for Leviathan.

Millioncorn and La Theine Cabbage are, notably, NPC buyable (Aragoneu and Zulkheim regional vendors respectively, number of other places for each as well), while Boyahda Moss is not. You shouldn't need to farm or garden them up, since the quest is like a 95% refund of the money spent buying from NPC.

Only reason to use moss is if you're reallllllly in a hurry, and would rather have more net gil loss (although if you can get it for under, uh, 7200 gil/stack, then I guess you could have gil *gain* here) than make a few more trips to Selbina.

The quest will, with sufficient repetition, max out your Bastok and San d'Oria (and by extension, Selbina and Rabao) fame, and get you high but not (on its own) maxed Jeuno fame. So that'll get you Titan, Shiva, and Garuda quests. Maxing out Windurst fame will finish up Jeuno fame, as well as max out Mhaura and Kazham fame (netting you Ramuh and Ifrit quests). Norg fame will also have to be done separately, and that'll net you the Leviathan quest.

Not sure what, if any, fame requirements there are for Fenrir and Diabolos, as I long since had maxed fame when they were added.

Fenrir is obtained by doing the Moonlight Path you have to do all 6 avatar battles over for the Whispers and then talk to Leepe-Hoope for Bauble. From what I could remember you do need Fame 5 or 7 I think in Windurst to activate the quest but I could be wrong and it be as low as Fame 4. Diabolos is part fame and part quest completion. Diabolos beating him in PM 3-5 and Fame 5 or 7 in Windurst, you talk to Kerutoto (Waters) to activate.

I think its fame 7 for Fenrir, since you need 7 fame for all other avatars, except the mini-quest ones, which you need 5 for.

A lot of people apparently forget about this, but there are three repeatable Norg quests, not two. There's the Zinc Ore for Bastok, the Yagudo Necklaces for Windurst, and "A Job For The Consortium" for San d'Oria. Granted, the last one probably is not the most suitable for fame-leveling - I doubt it counts any more than the other two, and there's always the possibility that you might suddenly find yourself unable to do it for the next 24 hours. But it's free, and you can also stack it with A Discerning Eye to get yourself some free money/fame (1500 per trip), and all you have to do is set your HP in Sandy and warp/bloodport after each trip.

There's also the "Black Market" quest in Norg itself, which is repeatable for Norg fame. However, not only does it too amount to a hefty net gil loss (more than the others, I suspect), but the stuff to turn in is a lot less readily available.
