He has a ridiculously high post count on the forums here, much of which may be silly babble in the out of topic forum, but it is also a testament to how long he has been a member of the community and how much time he's really devoted to allakhazam and FFXI.

Reason for nomination: Been around the PLD forum for a while now and has always been a very good source of information. He's a nice guy in general and doesn't jump down the throats of all the tards that come in and post the same question 1283718923 times without reading the stickys. (And if he does it's pretty damn amusing.)

Tough call between Vawn and Tummie. I ended up going Vawn because of yellow, and because he usually makes me laugh. Next time Tummie gets my vote for sure cause he is incredibly helpful, and knowledgeable.

As a side note, I hope the player of the month thing will be more regular from here on out.

Voted Tummie, all that great information has been much more helpful than a thread about karma .

In general I would agree with you that helpfulness should come before entertainment but I usually come to these boards for amusement while at work, so yes, "lulz" did play a role in my decision making process. And while I can think of a lepicdary thread Vawn has posted in the last month, I can not think of one Tummie has.

As I said I think Tummie is great, and deserves Player of the Month (actually I think all the nominees do, except NCCoda, whom I'm not familiar enough with to have an opinion on) So it's good to hear we'll be doing it again next month.

Vote for me and I will sing you any FF song you want. I'll alter the lyrics to stick your name in there someplace.

I got to know him on Cerberus, very good player and even better person. I never heard him bash a anyone, and always willing to help when he has the time.

As another poster noted, it's a bit disheartening to see joke votes and clique nominations. Sure, I've done my share of crackin' wise, but seeing how quick some are to attempt to dismantle other posters or blast with crude humor, there are times I'd rather just PM a person who's lost if I don't see stuff answered throughout a thread to about the best it can be.

It was a tossup between Catwho and Tummie, but I went with Cat because her Avatar is awesome. Honestly I think that they both deserve it. Vawn shouldn't even be on the list in my opinion. A karma whine turned CJ is hardly anything new or interesting.

Tough call. Times like this I wish I could vote for three people, not just one.

Tummies hard work in giving us all the juicy bits of info from version updates gets him my vote. Mainly because it means I have something to read during the inevitable emergency maintenance that follows.

I voted for Vawn, what with him being so helpful (and on my server of course)

And to think, I turned down a pty invite on my RDM from him the other night...
