Wont be long and I will be at 99. Looks like sparks gear to start is best. There is only one katana so should I grab a dagger to off hand? That dagger looks better than anything else I have access to unless I missed something. Also what off hand should my wife get for her dnc? We are going to focus on clearing expansions once we hit 99 for the story/KI/gear and I just want to get what is quick and easy to start with...

Once we have cleared up some of the story what do we start working on? It looks like upgrading AF gear is something we should be doing to start with... don't understand how that high tier mission battlefields work. So much information to try and take in all at once.

EDIT: I found a guide after much google that helps with some of the basic RoE stuff... some quick and easy gear pieces.

Could also look into getting an Oboro-made JSE weapon and try to get WKR clears to make some double-attack augmented things. But aside from that, other gear progression will like just involve farming Rem's tales to augment the more useful of pieces of AF/Relic. Current Ambuscade gear doesn't really benefit any of your current job choices and it's highly unlikely you'll find a group willing to take newcomers to build Gallantry for last month's set.

Either way, once you do the above, you're likely to hit a wall without finding outside help.

Depending on your jobs, you may be able to work on some of the escha NMs; this will certainly be your longer term goal for gear. with trusts, you may be able to handle the T1s in Zi'Tah and Ru'Aun, especially some of the ones that have "tricks". This won't completely bring you up to speed, but it will start you down the path to progression.

Also, take advantage of the upcoming abjuration campaign if you can (there is a requirement on how long the character has existed). With a little luck, you can get some nice options there.

However >>" * Only characters for whom at least 45 days have passed since character creation are eligible to use the Gobbie Mystery Box." So if its on a new character you may not be eligible.
