Announcing the August Version Update

Greetings once more, adventurers. Matsui here with a rundown on the next version update, which is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, August 3.

As you have come to expect, Ambuscade will be getting new foes to tackle and rewards to obtain, so make sure to spend your hallmarks and badges of gallantry before the update launches.

Another major addition is the continuation of the Ygnas Directive questline, which made its first appearance in June. This latest installment features the incorrigible Roskin, whose thirst for knowledge and women remains unquenchable.

Other changes include various job-related adjustment, addition of mount compatibility to several areas, alter ego adjustments, and the addition of detailed help text to yet more food and drink items.

Why? Was something up there unclear or imprecise in some way?

Most of the information they talk about in Freshly Picked (their live stream) and dev posts.

Nothing is unclear, but in the past, they would go into more details of each upgrade. Now, they simply mention the upgrade. For example "Adjust certain alter egos ". First question is "Which alter egos?"

Nah I was joking. These aren't the real patch notes. They'll release real patch notes (or as close to real patch notes as SE gets) when the version update actually happens. These are placeholder notes that are full of blanks on purpose. They fill the blanks in later.

Why do they bother releasing this? You've got me.

As per their JP posts, they basically do it to show the "process", basically to give a little insight about the work flow.
