#5REDACTED, Posted: Aug 28 2015 at 12:34 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You mean it's hard to spam when there's no one to see your spam? Bet it's gonna be rough when this website shuts down forever and your 50,000 posts disappear into the aether. All your life's work gone! So many hours of basement-dwelling posting is suddenly meaningless with nothing to show for it except your virginity

Obligatory yet pointless response to your response, followed by random musings about what I want for breakfast.

How is RDM melee holding up now anyway? Haven't played in about a year now.

Its in a good place right now. Better than nuking side of RDM anyway. You need to get good Skirmish augments on your armor and weapons though which requires luck or deep pockets...but all jobs need to have their good augmentable gear to be "good". DW is the way to go most of the time, but SH is also not as much of a slouch anymore and you can become pretty tanky with /RUN (10sec flash is cool). They also straight up doubled Enspell damage a bit ago, its pretty sweet having 70+ extra damage per hit.

I would say its probably in the best place its been as a whole package...but in terms of direct comparability to other jobs, I do believe it is worse now than it was @75 cap...but I think that is more of a distinction between the "DD" oriented jobs scaling better against ilvl content than hybrid jobs. My DNC also feels sluggish these days for the same reasoning despite being decently geared.

The best part imo now is being able to reliably self skillchain.
