Incase anyone was wondering why FFXI is going mobileFollow

Guess there's no real surprise there, younger gamers' attention span these days is often less than that of a goldfish, phone 'games' are targeted at them, those aren't the kind of gamer who's even attracted to ezmode MMOs like WOW, ESO, etc., far less anyone who'd look at FFXI.
