Return to Vana'diel Campaign May 15 to May 25Follow

Hello! I have a question hopefully someone can answer.
I want to revisit the game during this coming free login campaign.
My squareenix id works( I currently play ffxiv).
My ffxi characters, however, all show as "cancelled" status.

I read under rules that cancelled options are not eligible.
I click on re-activate but then prompts me for payment(crysta or CC).
I would like to login for free for the week, not resub.

Can someone please list the correct procedure to be able to play
for free during the coming week?

It's sounding like your XI account is linked to an SE ID, so that's one possible concern you don't have to worry about as a returnee. For those who haven't done this, I think eligibility for the campaign ends on the 7th sometime.

As for being Cancelled, perhaps it's important to know for sure which section you're looking at. If you've clicked the 'Select Service' tab and when on to view cancelled services and XI is there, you might be in trouble. If you click the 'Confirm Account Status' tab, then XI, and see a list of your characters with Cancelled by them, you should be good to go.
