Any word on whether they are going to drop the subscription fee, or at least drastically reduce it in November?
I want to play it but there is no way I'll pay a subscription for a game with no development going on.

not as of yet but they may announce it as it gets nearer to november. imo if you want to play the game just pay the subscription fee its not exactly bank breaking if you can afford the pc/console etc to play it!

They're not saying it yet because they probably think that if they outright said it now it would cause a lot of people to jump ship now and just come back once it's free, but I imagine they're probably going to do something along those lines. I don't see how they're gonna expect people to keep paying a subscription for a MMO that's no longer going to get new content.
Probably not until the Mobile version is up and running, and the Microtransaction service is in place. They won't cut off the cash flow until an equal flow is in place.
