So I am on Steam, I recently bought the Seekers addition but to create space on my hardisk I had to delete the Abysse edition.

Everything went fine, it installed, I loaded Playonline, it updated the 400-500 odd files then it comes to trying to f***ing log on.

I've entered my 'Member Name' - my name hasn't changed but is this field vewry important?
I've entered my play online which I know is 100% correct
I even entered my Square Enix ID and the password (both of which are 100% correct because I can get into my accounts on the website.

So Everytime I enter my password I get 'Incorrect playonline ID or Password (this will come up if I enter any old c rap'. OR a POL-5312 error regarding the square Enix ID or Squar Enix password is incorrect when I enter the correct password.

I just don't understand how this is the case when just 5hours ago I was playing the Abyssea pack until my content ID ran out and I decided to install SoA as I know im missing out.

Anyone have any ideas why the hell it won't log on?

Where am I going wrong? I've spent the last hour trying everything but certain fields are just set in stone and are still written on my original 360 version so many years ago.

Any idea where I am going wrong please assist!

The member name is not important, it is for your use to help differentiate multiple accounts apart. For example, main and mule.

There are two sets of login information, the POL ID/password, and the SE account ID/password. All 4 of those must be correct, plus the optional security token. The POL ID is in the format of ABCD1234, the SE account ID can be almost anything. There is also an email password but that is only required for checking POL mail which I'm not certain is even used for anything any more.

I feel for you. One day POL viewer lost all of my data for some reason and I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to get it working again. I have since put all of that data into a text document for safety.

Thank you Nanako, with the pieces of info you laid out, and lokking at it the way you laid it out, when I went back to trying to log on I managed it more or less first time.

Just one silly error that sorting things out in the early hours of the morning can cause when your brain isn't working.
