Can't update the game, POL ErrorFollow

I just recently renewed my subscription for FFXI after I had stopped playing for about a few months, bought the game when it was on the Steam sale during the holidays and had uninstalled it at some point before re-installing the game today. I had to make another member ID thing, but when I log in there is no option for my SE Password or One Time Password since I have the token tied to my account as well. Instead there is a just a box for the Play Online password and it works, but then the error about POL - 5312 pops up and it lets me connect just fine after. I'm able to go and start FFXI, it tells me there is an update, and as soon as the bar hits 100% the same error, 5312, comes back and will not let the game update. I've tried going through the options and deleted my member ID to remake it but there's nothing about enabling a one time password at all. Anyone know how to get this fixed?
