So I think I've made the decision to go ahead and get SoA.
But, as I'm looking around, I'm seeing lots of different ways to actually get it, and I'm not sure which I should do.
See, I want a physical copy so I don't have to spend 500 hours downloading if I ever need to reinstall; I'm on a 350K/sec connection and 12GB takes awhile to download (more than I'd like) and since FFXI updates file-by-file, it takes even longer than it should.
But yet, all of these digital downloads everywhere kinda look tempting too.
I'm missing two of the Mini-Scenarios and all 3 Abyssea addons so I need the Ultimate Collection, do the keys come seperate, or does it give you an all-in-one key that you can't use on an existing account?
Now, I have a 2007 Vana'diel Collection, but it took nearly 12 hours for it to update (which is why I want the physical UC). However, with a digital download... does it download an archive file that you could perhaps copy to an external HDD and install from that?
Also if I buy the UC, don't I already have most of that data already on my HDD and the game should be able to auto-update it by itself without me needing to download the entire 12+GB right now?
