I had been introduced to FF11 around the same month as its ps2 launch. Quit around the same time ToAU came out. Came back in '09, but then quit again due to lack of time. Looking to come back after seeing all the fun things (some too long overdue imo) that have been inplementented. I have tried to find clear answers to some of my questions but the games community is only so big and a lot of the posts I find through google are from 07-08.
Q: No more Book PTs at all? I can lvl where ever I want, with Trust NPCs & a friend?! I can once again be sunblind in Cape Teriggan while raptors claw at my face? I can even skip Abyssea worms if I want to?
Q: So just to be clear, Trust NPCs will help me in any standard zone? So I don't have to /shout and bride ppl to help me with content I can't solo being a returning player? But are not usable in Abbysea, CoP, BCNM areas ect? I have this correct?

Q:I need a good home. Let us just say last time around I picked a not so stellar server and that was also a big factor in why I left. Community was not what I remebered. 3-4 server recomendations besides Asura, Pheonix, Siren(My first server).

I just reactivated my character on Pheonix earlier today. Can't wait to get in!

Thanks, was a great read. Great to see this faq just got an update! Really answered a lot of my Qs. Now I guess I just need to find a server and I'm off! Thanks Ice, if I roll on Pheonix I'll give you a shout.
you can use trust NPCs in CoP areas I think - not the past - and not any kind of battleground.

Actually I believe you can summon them in some battlefields, just not like burning circle ones per say.

yeah you can summon them in wildskeeper rieves (as we have all noticed)
Think you can call them in the 95 cap BCNM, at least I seen a dev post about allowing it either soon or was just put in.
