Thinking about coming back and just play a little casually/solo. Been readin up on what's new, think my BLU is 95 attm, rest is low level.
I found this RoE thingy and was wondering if the best armor and weapon rewards require any kind of pre-quest or if it is enough to just solo your way up to the required amount of sparks to get em?
How much old content is soloble as BLU also? CoP? etc
And is still GoV/FoV the best way to solo level or are there any other ways faster now?

There's no prequest toward being able to purchase weapons and armor with sparks after you started RoE.
I can't speak firsthand as blu, but you should be able to solo most missions.
Pretty much FoV/GoV alongside Trust NPCs are the best way to solo until you want to head to abyssea.

You could likely do almost any older content solo as a blu with a little work. They are also going to ease some things (the two key thing in COP for example) that roadblock people working on the story.
Thanks for the reply guys. But regarding Abyssea, are people still doing Worm parties etc?
I bought the ultimate coleection on steam so I have Aduolin, can I get to that continent at once or is it like Tavzarnia, that you need to do alot stuff beforehand?

you just need to do a simple quest where you find a geomantic fount. Then you can go to adoulin. Sign up in the Jueno travel agency/customs or whatever

I was able to solo most missions pre-Adoulin on either 99 thf or blu, but some things were a little too tough for me. Buying a set of armor and a weapon with RoE sparks recently, I finally learned one of my last spells, Pyrric Bulwark, by easily face tanking the NM in abyssea. With sparks gear and trust buddies, I got to laugh at Byakko.
For leveling speed, I don't know if it was actually faster, but it felt like a nice change of pace. Using RoE, I activated a page for Castle Zvahl Bailey. Every 10 kills (whether they are too weak or not) gave like a 600xp bonus. No worry about what mobs I killed, I just made a circuit by the throne room entrance and kept killing. Could have gotten more if crystals dropped (1000xp for every 10 of a single type).
Are the Wayfarer set and Eminent Scimitar the best BLU equip from spark rewards?
And some of the "quests" involved killing hundreds of mobs yielding exp etc, where is the best place to do that, beside Abyssea(as I guess I will have a hard time finding a group for that)?
And I am 95 atm, is the limit to get me to 99 soloble?

Aby mobs don't count for RoE that need you to defeat exp yielding mobs but is pretty good for the deal 500/1000 since no exp requirement. There was mention that the devs were looking into fixing that issue but haven't herd much about it. As for the gear yep pretty much the best and think the other set might have some good pieces for req WS sets but you would have to compare to what you have now.
The limit break for 95 to 99 is might not be soloable now(at least for a 95, 99 with a good ilvl weapon might be able to) but I think soon you'll be able to take trust NPCs into that fight as well. Though with two of the weakening items a duo should have almost no problem with it.
Thank you all for replying. Speaking about all this. Is there any other way to teleport around besides using Airships? It takes quite a while to run from zone to one city and then wait for ariship, wait on airship etc.

There are still the out post warps that you get from your nation holding a region and you can warp to it after a quest to take supplies to it is finished from talking to one of the gate gaurds in your home nation. Then we have Void Watcher warps too. You got to flag each path to get those and some needs VW clears to get access too. Wiki has how you flag those under Void Watcher.
