Healing/casting regen etc.Follow

#1 Jan 28 2014 at 7:32 AM Rating: Decent
Does anyone know how to heal, poisona, silens etc etc, with macros. Everytime I go to use them they don t work. I have to scroll through the spell list, F2 F3 F4 to target group member, and then hit enter. It seems a little clumsy. If anyone knows a way around this it would be appreciated.

Use the following:

/ma "Poisona" <st>

Then you can pick who to target (using F1-F6 for party members or cycling through with 0 on the num pad for PC, not sure for PS3/Xbox).

I forgot to mention this is for Trust NPCs .

for trust NPCs if you wanted to single them out in your macro you could do <stnpc>. You could still possibly target monsters and stuff, but it would allow you to target them easier. If you want an all purpose macro for status removal <st>, party only <stpt>, alliance only <stal>.

It's been so long since I used, but I think you can do players only too with <stpc>

I can tell you as a whm, but try <stal>. I have that as a remnant of dynamis when I might of had to cure another party in the ally, but when I've been on whm and using my trust npcs, I don't need to make any changes since technically they ARE in your party, unlike your NPC buddy.

<stpc> may also work for stuff like Erase or regen, tho with most of my actual cure macros, I do use <stal> pretty extensively. Once you hit it, just hit down on the controller d-pad (If you use kb I don't know what to tell you but I'm sure a kb user can correct that) and select who you wanna cast it on, then hit Confirm. It'll work.

You could try <p0> through <p3>

<p0> = top position in current party, which is yourself
<p1> = second position in party, or the top trust member in your party
and so on

Trust NPC can be targeted just like any other party member. Macro for cure spells can be made as follows...

(First targeting said member via F1-6 (This works in normal parties as well))

/ma "Cure" <t> (will cure the targeted person)
/ma "Cure II" <t> (Quotes are needed for any spell that has a space in the name, spelling is REQUIRED)
/ma "Poisona" <t> (etc...)

This works with JA as well with the exception of the /ja instead of /ma

<me> Targets yourself
<st> changes to a purple arrow to then target after the macro activation
<p0-5> targets the person in the space top to bottom in the party list. (as someone already said)
<t> is the current target

There are many more but those are the basics to get you started.
