So according to a recent Siliconera article, Run/Geo receiving their 2nd set of AF and 2 new trusts npcs will be appearing in the February update.

Also in February, Square Enix will release Relic Armor for the Geomancer and Rune Fencer classes. Players will also be able to get faces including Prishe and Ulmia from the Chains of Promathia expansion.

I hope this means other job's relic armor will be reforged soon.

Oh are they adding reforged AF2? Or is it just going to be added to loot tables in dynamis at normal relic levels? Reforged Relic would be nice since I am not able to make reforged AF1 until I get to sea (sigh) and I have already +2ed some bits.

Rune Fencer's relic armor looks absolutely hideous. Let's go from a cool dark blue/black to some weird orangish-peach nonsense.

If you mix the colours of RDM and PLD AF2, maybe you get that horrid colour on the RUN AF2?

The male GEO gets some baggy pants and a coat, and the female gets a top and shorts. Average them out, and we'd get some less nonsensical looking gear. They'd still probably look like Goomba cosplayers because of the hat, however.

I am jealous that male GEOs get a long coat. I dislike all armor that shows a lot of skin...

When I first saw the artwork for RUN's relic armor, I was thrown off by the shading/lighting effects and assumed that it was going to be like a dark reddish color. Don't know what they were thinking with this goofy light salmon-orange color.

GEO's is wonderful, though.

Nice to see we're getting new Trusts at a fairly quick pace. Hopefully they have little cutscenes for them this time instead of just lazily chucking them on a cipher to pick up from an NPC and calling it a day.

In the Feb update, we will be able to reforge AFv2 (Dynamis Relic) to iLvl 109. From what it seems at the moment, we will only be able to iLvl 119 a total of three pieces from each set which most likely will be Hands, Feet, and Legs, similar to how we only had access to 3 pieces of Empy Gear when the second round of Abyssea came out. We will probably get the last two upgrade options at a later date.

Also we are getting two new areas so expect a possible Sandworm Naakual (Amorphs Family) to round out the families of the two main ecosystems represented by the Naakuals.

For some reason I'm envisioning more Dragoons in Relec over the AF. Aside from that, it looks like Monks will be overjoyed with using the relec hands and legs as permanent set pieces again. But will all that added +%Hp from Melee will be increased as well?.

Doubt it. SE shoved as many amorphs into all the other zones as possible, so I doubt there will be an amorph zone. That and there's no amorph naakual on Amano's drawing so I don't know. The white dragon seems to be part of the border. So the 7th could only be the black demon looking thing on the top of the painting.

I used to think that was an umbril and that'd be the amorph zone boss, but they're just in every zone. And Umbrils are either demons or arcana anyway, and not amorphs. So either it's a demon zone, or that's part of the border too. My money's on the "Shinryu like, final mission boss" kinda thing and not a delve boss for Naakual #7.

The other way we know there won't be an amorph delve; Half of the jugs SE gave BST were aquan jugs. Therefore there cannot be an amorph zone to use them in.

I hope there's a 7th naakaul, there are still a few weapons like katana that haven't shown up in Wildskeeper Reive. The OCD in me is going nuts they haven't completed the bestiary yet. Not to say Wildskeeper weapons are that relevant right now. But I assume they are going to eventually make Delve version 2 to include all the other naakauls.

It's still possible, you tend to find more amorphs in underground places in all areas. They could still surprise us with an underground area that's big enough for an amorph fight and update all the Wildskeeper reives, yet again. I just hope the 7th naakaul doesn't end up being part of the SoA storyline where you find out you or someone else is the 7th, that plot device has been done to death.

The More You Know Segment: Umbrils are elementals. Can read it in the Bestiary section of Celennia Memorial Library.

Remember Creeps or Gargantua (Vysage + lefty & Righty) from ff8? The Umbrials always reminded me of a mash up of those mobs.

If they are using Norse mythology then Nidhogg yould be eating at its roots along with four other serpents. We all know where Nidhogg is so if they are using the native american mythos, then Quetzalcoatl (Aztec), Gucumatz (Quche Maya), & Kukulkan (Yucatan Maya).. However we also know where Kukulkan is currently in Abyssea. That makes the other two, likely one of the serpents/dragons in the poster. EIther way I wouldn't be suprised if the Umbrils are related to somthing eating away at the roots of Yaggdrasil.

I also do not belive there will be a 7th Naakual due to the fact there are only " 6 " elements, thus only 6 Naakuals.. Anything else would need to be related to light and dark.. Looking at the illustration. there is one dark serpent near a dark dragon looking one and several lighter draconic serpents in the sky.. I'm almost cirtain those are connected to the Light and Darkness elements. Got to wait untill more missions are added to find out.

But what I really want to know is, where are all the Dragoons in Adoulin? We had that whole backstory of Achtelle in WoG, yet theres no records of her in Adoulin or anything about the Dragoons there.

Gucumatz is in Abyssea too (Aby-Misareaux). Spelled slightly differently with a "k" instead of a "c".

Eh, it's probably just Starmites.
