I bought Seekers for myself and my g/f two days ago and we've pretty much got everything set up to play competently. We both have geared 99s and I was wondering what exactly we have to do to get seeker gear. I know we can get some with bayld and whatnot, but a more in depth guide to the content would greatly cut down on wasted time.

Some things to work on:

-Start off by doing coalition quests, which raises your bayld up and allows you to progress in SoA missions.

-Join every skirmish shout you see. The skirmish armor is a great way to gear up to a competent level to participate in other content.

-Once you can, join in Wildskeeper Reives when people are shouting for them. The gear that drops from them can be pretty good.

-If Delve shouts still occur on your server, try to get in them for clears and plasm. Some of the plasm gear is pretty good.

-Work on Records of Eminence quests so you can get whatever weapons and armor might be easy upgrades for your characters. After you're good on that, save the sparks for AF upgrades to help get your AF to ilvl 109 and 119.

As you do RoE quests, some will give you copper vouchers. These can be traded for R/E/M upgrade items. If you don't have a use for them, sell them to raise some gil!

Doing this stuff will help bring you up to speed fairly quickly and easily.

Unless you've got a group that can easily clear MBs, delve is practically not even worth bothering with anymore. Records of Eminence points are **** easy to obtain and can purchase stuff that pretty much beats all the non-MB weapons. As far as armor, between skirmish and (again) RoE, most jobs/slots are covered there too.

If you do decide to farm in delve the jobs that will always get in are Whm, Sch, Geo, Cor, & Brd. Provided you're properly geared and very competant in those jobs. Geo might be the easiest as long as you have capped skill, good -pdt and mp controll. However like a previous post said Delve takes a while to start now mostly due to people trying to find reliable folks who can play on those mage and support jobs.

I'd be iffy on BRD since some might get **** about having 3-4 song capability. COR would need a bit of niche gear collecting to optimize some rolling, too. I'd probably rank ease to WHM > SCH = GEO > COR > BRD.

I just got my full set of Espial and my H2H weapon from sparks and I'm feeling godly XD. I still need to look into good PUP off pieces, i have brutal and raja's and all i needed to get to shinryu was rani so i'll probably get epona's soon. I still need to look at what other off pieces are BIS and work toward them.

It was fun going into Aby and soloing Ovni and some other NMs. Never really felt like i was anywhere close to dying.

I was wondering if the haste cap on gear is still 25%. I Looked at the full PUP AF +3 set and it had around 28% haste on it. Also my emp head has double attack on it, is that better than the sheer stats of the espial head for TP gain? I would think i would do more damage from the sheer stats over time than a 2% chance to double attack. not to mention survivability solo.

It's still just above 25%.

Still need 26% from gear to cap, and in SoA areas you can drop it down to 24% or there abouts. The sanction like effect(can remember how spell it) adds iirc 2% gear haste.
