FFXI Mandy scream sfx, Anyone have one?Follow
Hey all, doing a nice lil christmas gift for friend of mine. Last year did the ffxi moogle. I had a sfx for that, so when it was time for the moogle to appear, I gave it life with sound. Now this year for her gift, I have one of the black mandy plushes and a desire to have a sfx of the mandy playing on my computer where the mandy will be hiding around for her to find, and get her gift at. However seems no sfx of a mandy is online, tried recording one myself in game, but damn thing wont make the scream, nor is the quality really well. So just thought I would check here just in case, so this way in the morning, I could try to have some sound for it. Thanks.
I'm assuming you should be able to pick up Altanaviewer, find a Mandy model, and cycle through its actions to find the one with the proper sound(s). From here, recording it may be a matter of converting your sound output briefly to your recording implement of choice if you can't extract the files exactly.

Tried that. Either I am blind, or something, cause I didnt find mandy in that list. (Tho tons of yag, and few others had many of em) Plus for some reason.... I am not getting sound output on the actions. Not sure why. Thats with that new version of AV.
ROM\4\127.DAT has the mandragora, and everything from sway to vswy in the schedule options under action will give you mandy sound effects.

Thanks on the dat file. Also lol on youtube vid. I saw that group in my search, tho I still prefer Within Temptation when it comes to my goth music. ^^
