FFXI used as test for Square Enix's Project FLAREFollow

Square recently partnered with Ubisoft for a computational cloud system to use in future games, called Project FLARE. The official page is here:

How is that related in any way to FFXI? Because it was used as test footage to show how the cloud system could enhance the gaming experience (among other titles, including Deus Ex: Human Revolution).



The project is backed by Yoichi Wada himself.
