Cant login to my square enix account for some reason. Follow

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue. Last logged in about a month ago. Tried today and it says my id/password/onetime password is in correct. I have the SE token on my android phone. tried changing password but it says my onetime password is incorrect. tried phoning square enix's phone support but all i get is one ring then dial tone. this is frustrating since i also wanna get FF ARR setup on my current se account.

The entered password is invalid.
Passwords composed of only alphabetic characters, only numbers, or only symbols cannot be used. Passwords including the same three characters in a row cannot be used.

Not seeing a sync function in the app, so that rules out that possibility. Only other thing I can say is make sure you're not typing with caps on/off depending.

Did you check to make sure you weren't still paying for your account with Click and Buy?

i have used the click and buy service in the past. as well as ultimate game cards. how would i check since i cant login into my account

I don't have my token with me to log in, but on the secure.square-enix.com/account/app site, just make sure your payment method is updated to a valid credit card (or crysta or something). Had this issue with my alt account this weekend, but now that I look back at the OP this is probably not it.

There is a thing where if you miss-enter your password too many times it will not let you log in for 15 minutes, and during that period, it just tells you your password is wrong instead of a helpful message.

wish it was that lol. i cant even change my password. i get the email and all just still giving me the one time password issue when i type that in on the password change page.

anyone else having trouble calling the se tech support. maybe its because i use the google phone app since i dont have a cell or landline atm

this is what is says in in the area where you change your password in the onetime password box. this is frustrating me to no end since i also bough ff14 back in 2010 on this account as well.

I would imagine that SE's tech support is swamped right now with XIV related calls.

Are you sure you're using the proper passwords in the proper area? There's Playonline IDs and passwords as well as Square Enix IDs and passwords, but they're not the same thing.

im just gonna wait a few days. nothing i can do since i cant reach their tech support or change my password and stuff on their site. 858 790 7529 is the correct number? just thought i would double check. the number i called back in 2007 when my account got hacked

I just looked, and that is the only number I can find associated with their tech support.
