Hey mates,
I've been retired for a very long time, but just thought I would log in, and pop in to inquire about your favourite chracters from the entire franchise whether friend or foe for a friendly exchange of witty banter. Not really looking for a Kefka vs Sephiroth debate, but which of these mega villains or hero/heroines would be awesome as a boss character in FFXI?
Sorry if this has been done heaps of times before. Like I said before, I haven't logged in for a very long time. How is FFXI life these days?

We kind of got our Yunalesca with Lilith Prime, and our Seymour with Archduke Kaumle'naut or whatever his name is, but those would have been my picks.
Kefka would be a fantastic boss for the PUP storyline (if only for the outfits.)

Would have been better to ask people what their most hated mini game was and why?
That's an even tougher nut to crack as FFXI is littered with them.
However, I do recall something to do with catching cactus and dodging lightning strikes in FFX but that's another story.
What? Best character and why?
Hero: Zack Fair (Why? Because in Crisis Core he made Cloud look wimpy.)
Vilain: Sin (Why? To defeat Sin, you must become him to start the cycle anew..That in iself is pretty creepy and evil on a whole new level.)

Hero: Auron - Middle aged, gruff-looking, not broody/angsty, hair isn't too ridiculous... he's essentially the polar opposite of what I hate about most FFs main protagonists. Also, he's awesome.
Villain(s): FFXII - The Judges. They were just friggin' cool.
For added measure: favourite mini-game is triple triad from FFVIII, and my favourite system mechanic is the materia system from FFVII.

I agree. Auron is one of my favorite FF characters. Lulu was another from 10 I really liked.

His whole stance, and how strong he comes to keep on pushing even after learning the truth about his exsistance. I also like him for his personality as well, very gentle for a black mage.

I'm another who likes Auron. For all the reasons people posted above, sure, but mainly he's so badass that even when he is freaking killed, he shrugs it off to continue his mission and fulfill a promise.
Also, Fighter had some very complex character development that I really enjoyed.
