I just got dc'd with no other connection issues, and getting network retry errors from pol (1160) when trying to log back in. Anyone else? or is it just me?
You can always check here to see whether or not servers are down, but I know Lakshmi at least hasn't had any issue today.

Have you tried logging out completely (back to the initial POL screen) and logging back in?
Because that sounds a lot like what happens when your subscription runs out while logged into the game. It won't actually say what's wrong until you're at least back in the viewer, it'll just not work.

I had this happen roughly the same time. I couldn't get logged back in if I just went to the Dashboard and then reloaded the game. I had to completely restart my 360.
It went out for me at that time as well. I actually couldn't get to anything coming out of Japan. A few minutes later everything was fine. I'm just going to blame Godzilla or some magical girl/tentacle monster hijinks.
