• The issue wherein pets would occasionally not be able to follow players who used the survival skill "Climbing."

• The issue wherein certain enemies had unintentionally low elemental resistances.

• The issue with Yorcia Weald colonization reives wherein it was possible to participate from a location from which they could not attack the wild peril.

• The issue wherein the Avian Roost in Marjami Ravine would occasionally display incorrectly.

• The issue wherein the Arboreal Bastion in Yorcia Weald would occasionally display incorrectly.

• The issue wherein the Morimar Basalt Fields enemy Alpine Eft would occasionally not attack as intended.

• The issue wherein enemies could attack players in the process of using the "Climbing" survival skill in the following areas.

Sih Gates / Dho Gates

• The issue wherein it was unintentionally difficult to stun the following Legion enemies.

Lofty Zilan / Mired Hydra / Mired Alfard

• The issue wherein the NPC Chalvava's movements would occasionally display incorrectly during the quest "Flavors of Our Lives."

• The issue wherein the message displayed upon completing the quests "Endeavoring to Awaken" and "Elementary, My Dear Sylvie" would read "Your maximum level has been raised to 75!" even for characters higher than level 75.

• The issue wherein topographical effects would not display properly during cutscenes for the quest "Endeavoring to Awaken."

Abyssea: 3 pairs of shoes for the price of one!

Not sure if I like this change but at least it's better then no change at all.
It seems players can exchange 3 unwanted boots for one pair of your choice!
If your one of those people who get every boot drop except the one you want, then this is for you! :D

Also "/localsettings hidearmor" is an interesting change too.
Good to see naked Galkas everywhere!

Geez finally they allow weather effects off. Something people have been wanting since 2003, finally happens 10 years later. Oh, I was thinking about this when I was camping Gargantua for the Katana trials(I can't see 5 feet in front of me).

The altana shield looks fab too from the shield competition too.
It's craftable so we can all get one!

#9 Aug 05 2013 at 12:49 PM Rating: Excellent
From what was said, the two Altana Shields aren't craftable. The NQ will be one of the new items available from the second Login Campaign, and the HQ will come from the new Skirmish content.

The npc sends you to the 3 npcs in any nation to trade the item, in Port Windurst/Bastok the npc is near the MH area.

I may be skimming the list to fast so I'm going to ask this. Are we able to store the JSE capes from Colonization Reives or the boss prizes from Wildskeeper and Delve yet? Aside from that at least Rune and Geo AF is storeable on its release.
#19 Aug 05 2013 at 6:51 PM Rating: Excellent
The JSE capes can't be stored. The only equipment that was added to storage slips was the new Artifact equipment for Geomancer and Rune Fencer.

I'm loving Monstrosity but I thought players could take on other players? I swear I read that somewhere but maybe I'm mistaken. I hope it's something SE will implement because we need some PvP in FFXI that's easy and fun!

Might require further leveling as it seems many unlock other options as you level. As well, what jobs you've beaten Maat with can translate to cheaper ability costs.

I'm kind of disappointed by monstrosity. I think I was expecting more from it. Its like old school leveling with no loot or parties. I only got to 15. Is anything suppose to happen at higher levels?
#25 Aug 06 2013 at 4:23 PM Rating: Excellent
Eventually you'll be able to unlock NM and HNM forms, battle against one another, and other things like that. This was basically the preliminary Monstrosity content.
