What's up allah? I just came back from a three year absence (been playing off and on since '04) out of nostalgia. I'm originally from Hades, which had a decent pvp crowd, but the one I'm on now doesn't seem to have many pvp minded people. So I was wondering...Are there any servers out there that still have a strong pvp base?
Hades was merged with Cerberus, so, assuming the decent pvp crowd is still around, that'd be the first place to look.

Yeah, that's where I'm at now. Unfortunately, Cerberus is dead as far as pvp goes. Ballista and D.A.G were always the most fun I had in the game. Was hoping to get a few rounds in before I lay FFXI to rest permanently.
From what I understand, Fenrir is where the PVP players live these days.

Yeah um... you guys do realize that this stuff was horribly unbalanced before, right? And now that a simple spell or weaponskill can do upwards of 4000-5000 damage without any real effort, what fun is there still to be had?
He who builds 100% TP and presses the WS button first wins, if your opponent didnt already die by then due to the 400-500 damage regular hits...
Or... Sleep > Meditate > WS if you're a DRK/SAM... Really, if you want to PVP, go find another game. This one wasnt good for it before, but it certainly isnt anymore now.

Wouldn't even get as far as WSing: DRG jumps.

PVP with those new SOA weapons must be really boring unless new gear can defend you against silly numbers.
That's exactly what I meant. Can you dodge bullets? Because any one hit of that Barrage is going to kill you.
