If I'm reading that right they're going to put the recast of Rune Enhancement back to 10 seconds.

Good ******* going idiots, you only had an entire month of people testing that on the test server for you to recognize and do something about it.
I hope to god that it's not nerfed because at the moment Rune Fencer needs all the help it can get.

It means that one of the programmers copied and pasted merit code from another job, and forgot to delete the bit whereupon the merit also included a cooldown. Whoops.

The same mismanagement practices that plague FFXI will most certainly plague FFXIV. Given the past 2 years, you don't need a crystal ball to confirm that one.

My guess? They had a couple quick fixes or found a major exploit and due to poor planning, they wanted to get the updates pushed out before the weekend, but didn't have time to get the PR team to push a proper notification, so they rushed it and kicked everyone out with only a 10 minute warning and complete disregard for the satisfaction of their customers.

Just a guess.

Never did quite understand if it had to be CONSECUTIVE days or just anytime you logged in you advanced. Do you go back to day 1 if you miss a day?
