What other files/folders can I copy over?Follow

Bold TextHello,

Thank you in advance to any information shared.

I am using a satellite and have a bandwidth limit. ;) My goal is to get FFXI up and running on my desktop; I already have it completely working on my laptop.
I reinstalled disks and then copied over with a thumb drive from the laptop to desktop the C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Enix\Final Fantasy XI folder. I did the file check and started it up with a remaining 3.5 hour download, which is a great improvement to what it would have been: however, I am trying to get it as low as possible so I don't end up having to purchase any extra bandwidth tokens. Are there any other files that I can copy over from my laptop that will help with this?

Copy the entire install directory, then do a file check. Takes like 20 minutes to complete the file check.

Where is the install directory? (Forgive the ignorance)

Thanks

Oh, sorry, posted before reading. That's right, you got the right install directory. If you're on a high-speed connection, the file check should only take around 20-30 minutes (despite saying 3 hours at the start). But that's as far as you can go to make the update any faster.
