Just came back from a hiatus and I want to start solo-farming dynamis coins, but I've never really liked BST. What's the next best option? DNC for fan dance? THF for more treasure hunter? MNK for DD? SJ/merits/gear/strategies would be great too. My main is SAM, but I feel like that's probably not the best option.
THF/DNC, without question.
There was a short time where PLD could go in and Aeolian Edge several mob procs at once, but they nerfed proc accuracy vs non-targeted mobs.
You could also go BLU/ and try for white procs, but I've heard that's not too reliable.

Thf/Dnc as a solo job farming in there is probably your best bet. You get the high TH, Sneak Attack +WS (for quick kills after proc), high evasion (both natively and through gear), and Flee (to quickly get you to the next camp once the time changes) from Thief, as well as having the curing and proc power of /Dnc.
Dnc/Thf is also an option for similar results, though you lose out on some of the TH in doing so. However, you gain more potent cures, better Haste Sambas, and can self skillchain to quickly take down enemies after you've proc'd them.

I went DNC/THF and did ok for myself when I played, but THF/DNC would be better for obvious reasons.

Good by and good riddance.
Edit: just sent the logs and the complaint off to the Comcast abuse line. Only about the 4th time someone has ever been stupid enough to push things that far, and 2 of them were Godraiden. Fun stuff! Mommy is going to be sooooo cranky when she wakes up and finds out the internet stopped working for some reason. Especially when the nasty official letter shows up.
