Tried the XIV beta recently and I'm very dissapointed with it, I've decided to maybe come back to FFXI instead.
I would however like to change my race and name now, I want to change to mithra but i don't want to lose all the progress I made years ago.
Do they offer these account services now and if so how to I buy them?

They should, but they do not. It's been requested of them many times on their forums but they've only offered to look into it.
