FFXI Account Reactivation HelpFollow

Hi everyone,

I am trying to reactivate my FFXI account that had been deactivated almost five years ago. I plan on contacting SquareEnix customer service within the next couple of days.

I have my Playonline ID, playonline password, all the billing info, name of character, etc. but i do not have the original CD registration codes since i threw that out a while back. I also am not sure i have the correct playonline password since I am having trouble logging into playonline on the internet, but could this be due to the fact that I havent been active in so long that it doesnt recognize my playonline ID and password anymore? (I know my Playonline ID is definitely correct, and 90% sure i know the password).

I also am not positive that I have the correct credit card number since I have switched credit cards a couple of times since playing FFXI back in 2008. I do not have the registration codes, but i do have a " FFXI Vanadiel Collection CD" which has ROZ and COP expansions on it. Will I be able to install FFXI, along with playonline, and the expansions with just the old CDs? Or do I need some kind of registration code too? I am considering buying the newest expansion for 40 bucks on amazon if i cant make due with only the old CDs. I also am pretty sure that my square Enix account was never linked to my Playonline account, and I do not remember what my square Enix account was, hopefully, which does not matter.

Basically, any advice in my situation would be greatly appreciated. I still need to install FFXI onto a new computer since I do not have the old computer that I playing FFXI on 5 years ago. I also was on the Seraph server, which now has been merged to the Bismark server. If anyone has gone through a similar account recovery process, I would greatly appreciate any advice you have.

Fortunately though, if for some reason you aren't able to recover your existing account due to not having sufficient information, it's not hard to start fresh and get to level 99, so maybe keep that in mind should you not be able to recover your old one. I know it's not the same as having your old character, but it isn't the extreme uphill climb that it was a few years back.
