Anyone ever see this error?Follow

Finally registered Seekers after some time, now that it is registered, my position is constantly spammed to me in the chat.

If you are using the unofficial windower, unload all plugins to see if that is the issue. Once you find the problem, that team has their own forums to give assistance.

If you are using the official windower, the very first thing you should do is run a file check.

I am running official windower, I've also already done a file check. The file check unfortunately didn't solve the problem. I might just re-install to fix it. No biggy!

Under the official windower 4 open beta support thread there is a post containing an identical problem, which is why I suggested it might be a windower related issue.

First, try loading FFXI without windower by using the normal POL icon, if it works perfectly fine without windower, we know windower is the culprit.

Then, if it works fine without windower go to the forums and plead your case.

If the issue continues without using windower at all, try unequipping your gear / items.

there an item ( Pendant Compass ) that is sold by ( If I recall correctly ) the same vendor that sells linkshells. I believe it is capable of producing a message similar to the ones you are seeing. Perhaps the item is bugged or was altered in the update and simply having it in your possession is making it spam the chatlog?

If you have a Pendant Compass in your possession, you may want to toss it or try using it etc, to see if the problem resolves itself that way.
