Has anyone actually taken part in a Wildskeeper Reive?
If so how did you actually get into one? Did you go with an LS or sit around hoping and waiting for another LS to randomly show up?
Is there a way of telling when a Naakual is not up so you don't risk wasting a 100k Bayld KI?

I say this because I have yet to meet a single EU or NA player on Bahamut server that has taken part in one whilst the JP community seem to have done them en-mass.

I really hope that these become more accessible in the near future.

I don't know of anyone personally that has done them yet, but I think there are a lot of people just waiting for the update and the subsequent entry KI reduction based on coalition ranks to be implemented before giving the Naakuals much thought. That's what I'm doing, since I don't want to toss 100k bayld at a potentially hours-long fight and come out with a crossbow. Not that bayld is hard to accrue, but... the less time I gotta spend doing boring reives, the better.

I have noticed a lot of JPs with the titles for defeating them. They seem to take to this expansion really well for some reason. I swear they operate as some sort of hive mind sometimes, flooding zones like Hennetiel and Morimar when there were barely ten people in them during NA time. I have seen several threads on FFXIAH popping up about trying to organize a run for these Wildskeeper Reives, maybe take a look at your server's forum there.

There's a Taru (Sappopo?) in the Scouts' Coalition that gives you intel on zones dependent upon their colonization level. Among the options is Fearsome Fiend Activity, which tells you the state of the Naakuals. Edit: Apparently this option doesn't appear if the Naakual isn't being fought (or isn't up, not sure which).

The responses are like "The Naakual protecting <zone> are extremely active./are quite active./are starting to tire./look tired!/are very tired!/are extremely tired!"* Likely relates to their remaining HP. Seems like kind of a roundabout way for SE to tell us about their status, though. Since you get your own loot pool and are guaranteed (I think?) one of the unique drops, there'll be a lot of shouting/PUGs for it. My LS can barely scrounge together enough for a single party nowadays, so I'll be relying on this. =/

As soon as you enter, you're transported to the Naakual lair and you get Reive status. The Naakual will aggro if you engage any of the other enemies in the Reive.

When the Naakual dies, you lose Reive status and get 2 items just like you would from a regular reive. Except it's one trash item and one Naakual equip. It doesn't seem to matter how well you perform since people who showed up near the end get the same rewards, and you can get the same reward twice (meaning you'll actually get nothing, which sucks). You have to leave and re-enter with a new temp key item before you can engage the Reive again. No clue how long the respawn time is (didn't stick around to wait and see) but it's probably short like every other Reive. Oh and I got about 6-8k bayld each run.

Personally, I have just joined random groups that formed in Adoulin. They were mostly JP players though, and we had about 2 alliances for an easy win.

I just happened to see someone shouting or yelling about <Naakuals><Lair reive><Foret De Hennetiel> <Fighting right now>. Bought the KI, went out to biouvac #4, and entered the ??? on the south beach. Suprisingly it's just another reive except you need a K.I. to enter and the Naakual is the Reive/Lair. By the looks of it, you will need a good alliance to get it started off. Everyone was running around killing all the many adds that keep respawning in the area and to generate the buffs and reive bonous'. The Naakual was kept in the far corner by a bunch of top teir tanks swapping out when one, two, or anyone within range of that one move dies.. A bunch of personal whm's to raise and cure, and most if not all of the Smn avatars (Ramuh) in the area acting as DD on it.

When I got there looked like it was @ 80% with 50% colonization in the area. Spent the next 3:36 hours fighting everything else in a random party that formed among other seeking players. I don't know how long the reive had been going before I got there. When I finished I had slowly regenerated about 34k in bayld or roughly 9k~10k an hour.. Someone who was there longer said they had already made about 20K. The cost might be offset slightly if you get in early enough. Just like any other reive the more people that show up the more sluggish things tend to get. I dont remember the total number of people in the zone but It was well over 80+. I dont think theres a limmit to how many people can enter but I heard theres a three hour timer between the last ToD and when the reive is active again. WIth that in mind, if you see 5, 8, or 24 people in the outer areas, then nothings probably happening. If you suddenly see 45, 60, 137 people showing up on area search. Then there's a good chance a Wildskeeper reive is going on.

Today I got in on the Morimar Basalt Fields reive for Achuka, after seeing 60 then 80 people there for an hour. Then after 1.5 hours to farm the remainaing cost of a KI, I saw 137 people in the area. Some were doing colony reives while everyone else was in the battle field. You just got to keep an hourly search in the areas or see a shout about one in progress. Ceizak Battlegrounds however is a hard ball as many people are using it to spam colony reives for the coalition and bayld.

The Naakuals do give a KI and a title after winning. They say there's seven of them, so might as well get them while theres enough people before the next set of missions and area expansions.

Quick question

I assume you need ki to enter. Can we show up with ki and enter individually and get the win and the items? I mean does everyone with the reive status gets the item individually? If we in a alliance can we enter with one person holding the ki? If yes do everyone in the alliance gets the items individually? Or is it in a treasure pool? I would appreciate if someone have the answer. Thanks

Each person needs a KI.

You can enter individually.

Rewards are exactly like all other reives- they just drop into your own personal inventory.
