Hello.

Ive been playing on the x360 since the beta of FFXI and when ever I enter a zone (any zone) even my mog house, the game will pause for upto 3-4 4secs and the green icon in the top right of the screen will stop flickering as the game loads up the new area.

Does this happen to everyone else?

I should say that it only happens on my main char, not on my mule, oddly enough.

Yes, I have the same issue. It has to do with how many items you have, regardless of whether they are in your inventory or in MH/Storage/Locker/Sack/Satchel. If you have all gobbie bags done with 80 slots in each, with 300+ out of 400 possible slots full, then the Xbox360 takes some time to process that. Mules don't usually have the issue if you still have only 30 slots for each type. If you try to go to your equipment screen or inventory right after zoning, it won't be populated because the system is still processing.

Really nothing you can do but get used to it or switch to PC.

Thankyou for the reply.

PC not an option, love the 360 too much too to be honest.

I do have max 80 slots in my satchels and moghouse and storage and all are full (don't ask) with stuff... I guess this is whats causing the delay when zoning anywhere.

I would guess my 'delay' is about 3-4 secs typically. Whereas on my mule it is pretty much non existant if at all.

Yea, the XBox 360 port has had tons of issues. Honestly, even if you love the 360, the best experience going in PC. SE has never done an adequate job of porting the game there (and honestly I think that is more the reason for FFXIV not appearing on it rather than the "online policies" excuse). I have experienced some first hand (The Besieged crashes were my biggest issue), and really I don't know if they will ever fully address the problems.
