Apparently you can buy the collector's edition items on SE's website separate from the collector's edition:

It's about time they did this.

My funds are pretty meanger but I'll think about getting those :) Never bought collections b/c I feared it'd bork up my FFXI (Well, it's borked atm anyway so reloading it..) but I'll get eventually.

I hope they add other previously only purchaseable items, like the Portal Charm and the music thingie you got with that soundtrack that one time.

If you notice, this person has the ultimate expansion in their cart too. For some reason, if you remove it, you can still get at least the destrier beret for $5.99. But then, if you try to purchase the whole set again, then it CHARGES YOU for the destrier beret and t-shirt instead of including them free as previous.
I am pretty sure this is a bug. I would not count on being able to get it unless someone demonstrates that they successfully have.
Digitalriver is TERRIBLE. Their setup is the worst and I am pretty sure this is just bad coding on their part for the shopping cart system. I'm really not sure why they included the items separately anyway, since they are supposed to come with the full version. >_<

FURTHER EDIT: Apparently it was confusing itself with my own previous order. Seriously, Digitalriver is totally ..... I clicked the original link again and it did indeed show just the beret and shirt (although it had two berets for some reason).

I got this in an email from SE when I purchased the game through them, I don't see an EU Version of the link though ;(
