I want return to FFXI with a Mac . . Follow

I have not played in years... I used to be on Ramuh in a Linkshell called Silent Winds. I have been thinking about this game a lot lately and really want to play again. Any help I have a Macbook Pro now and I cannot install through Playonline. Any help would be appreciated so much if I can return to Vana'diel!
Install Windows OS. My gf and me had that problem with her Mac. That or buy a cheap notebook, we paid just under 100 for a used notebook and got her playing.

I play FFXI from Linux, just follow the instruction on the Wine AppDB page for Final Fantasy Online, you will be good. Alternatively, if you have a copy of CrossOver for Mac, you could use that as well to install and play FFXI. It will take some tweaking for sure to get it started. With things like netbooks and such being so cheap these days, yes some people have gone the way of the cheap laptops/netbooks running windows because of the problems that can arise. I have a netbook with Windows that will be my alternative method to play FFXI when issues appear.
... as soon as I find the darn charger, that is. ><
