Did Anyone Else Get a Click & Buy Error?Follow

I tried to log in this morning, only to find out I had no Content IDs.

What?!

I check my e-mail to see if my billing was rejected for Click and Buy, and sure enough, billing error. -_-
I logged into my CC account to make sure that everything was in working order and nothing suspicious. My credit card is fine.

I went to SE's site and switched my billing back to credit card paid directly to them, but I don't know when I'll get use of my characters again. I'm still unable to log into my characters. Do I need to contact customer service or does it take a few hours? Ugh.

Did anyone else have this error as well?

Just gonna get this out of the way so other people can be constructive: Why were you using Click & Buy? Seriously? You were practically asking for sh*t like this to happen. Everyone and their mother around here knew they were the shadiest f*cking company from the start, and even just to get them to take your money seemed like a total scam.

Now you can probably expect a 'chargeback' on C&B's behalf to get you banned. There needs to be a giant stickied warning not to deal with these clowns.

Unfortunately Click and Buy has been shown to be really unreliable and downright shady when it comes to their activities and transactions, and a lot of people have been slapped with bans from chargeback issues due to C&B, as Raelix mentioned. The moment I saw all the info out there regarding Click & Buy, I decided to go the Crysta route. With all the problems stemming from C&B and all the complaints they had to have received since they made the subscription payment changes, it still bewilders me that Square Enix continues to utilize them for handling subscriptions through that method.

I really hope that this doesn't result in Susperia getting banned :(

I was about to say I signed up with click and buy from the start and have never had any problems. So I checked my email and yup, there is a problem. I was a little bit worried when my card expired last month and had to change information

hmm dont know about banning issues in your case but when I set up my account for click and buy when they first introduced it, I couldn't play for a couple of days.
I know it's a different issue entirely but I hope things get sorted sooner then later and you are able to login soon.

With me and my brother, we were on Click and Cry up until they introduced direct billing, then we switched over real faaast! I'm on crysta now but I'd recommend anyone still on those clowns to switch asap. ^^

Yeah, I've been getting hit with currency exchange rate fees for using Click and Buy for all this time, but I've been too lazy to complain or switch to Crysta. When I tried to switch payment to credit card directly to them when SE allowed that option, I couldn't find the link that would let me change it.

I hope I don't get banned. I'd be kinda unhappy if that happens. :(

I'm another one of those people who dumped C&B for Crysta as soon as it was available in the US. Now I'm back on the direct credit card billing. The amount of crap I had to go through just to sign up for a C&B account was absolutely ridiculous.

Here's the icing on an already bitter & terrible cake: you know the money C&B charge to your card to verify it? They NEVER refunded mine; it went toward my first month's FFXI bill.

I had an issue with them a month ago...

Haven't been playing in a few months, but have been paying the fee. Click and Buy sent me an email about some kind of charge error, like a payment didn't go through, and they killed my content ids. They then, a few days later sent me an email to say it was their mistake.



I switched to direct billing at that time and reactivated. I can use the characters fine. Now, they are sending me emails claiming I owe them for a month's fees.

Hello, long time lurker here.

I got the same message you did. I haven't played in a few days, so I didn't notice it until today. I have been playing for almost nine years now so this was quite a scare when I saw that my Content ID was deactivated. Anyway, I finally decided this was time to move away from Click and Buy. I bought some Crysta, reactivated my account on the Square-Enix site, and almost immediately was able to log back in to my character.

I'm also on Lakshmi, and as the name suggests, I play as Popsy. Hope everything works out and you come back without any more trouble!

UPDATE: Never mind. Now the SE Acc. Mngmnt site is working now. Used my CC directly.

BTW, them ultimatepays, clickandbuy, pokeandchoke all suck.

Im at a loss here.
Haven't played in 2 days and all of a sudden all IDs are deactivated.
Forgot C&B login and to get it back i need security answer to question which i also don't have (their contact offices are closed).
Can't activate directly through SE account management using my CC (tried 2 of em) cus it says some error.
Can't buy Crysta because you need to buy it with C&B or UltimatePay so i tried UltimatePay and it doesn't seem to be working.
I signed up with UP and recieved the confirmation email but no links are there to activate the account.

All this stuff is relatively easy for me so thats why im just stunned right now.
What options may i be missing?
