Problems registering expansion packsFollow

I did an installation on Xbox 360, using discs that contain RoZ, CoP, and ToaU.

I then bought the Ultimate Collection from Steam, which includes ALL expansion packs, and the Destriet Beret.

I went to the Square-Enix account management system and entered the registration codes that I received from my Steam purchase.

When I logged into to POL on the Xbox, it started a version update that took about 7 hours, so I'm assuming this was downloading all of the Abyssea, WotG, and 3 Add-On scenario files.

The SE Account Management website shows (under "Permanent Options" for my acccount) that I have all of the expansions. Each one is listed there, along with a start date.

When I log in on my Xbox, I'm getting a message saying that not all expansion packs have been registered. The 3 add-ons, WotG, and all Abbyssea packs are greyed out on the right side of the title screen.

What am I missing here? If they are registed on the SE account management page and have been downloaded to the Xbox hard drive, why am I not getting access to them? I was able to receive the Destriet Beret in-game, so that part worked.

Please help!

Sea Raelix's answer.

Need to install the game from Steam since WotG isn't part of the update process.

Shouldn't I still be able to access Abyssea and the 3 add-ons?

All of this content shows up under my "permanent options" on SE account management page. I don't understand what steps I've missed, or why they are showing as not registered on the Xbox.

All of the Abyssea expansions require WotG to be installed.

Add ons yes. Abyssea no. Anything using Maws, Veridical Confluxes and the like requires WotG.

You should still be able to start the Crystal/Moogle/Shantoto add ons off the top of my head.

So after buying my initial disc for $30, and the all-inclusive pack from steam for another $20, i need to go buy the WotG disc now as well? Even though that expansion was included in the steam purchase?

Ugh.

If I do buy the WotG disc for Xbox and install it, will the other expansions then also become playable because of my steam purchase?

If you want to play FFXI on your xbox and not your PC, then yes, you must find a WotG xbox360 disc. It can be a used copy, it can be borrowed, it doesn't matter- you simply need the disc to install WotG. After that, it's probably useless to you. This will give you access to WotG and all the Abyssea content.
