Where to purchase FFXI?Follow

I used to play FFXI circa 2007 but I'm coming back. On the FFXI website all the links to downloadable sources are all broken. The only one that seems to work is steam. Does anyone have any information about how can I d/l the game, get the 30 day trial? Just some basics, I was pretty good at this game back in the day.

Also, it still uses the PlayOnline client so I need to get that first? Also, I've never used steam, so any instructions on how to d/l FFXI with Steam would be helpful. Thanks a lot, I'm sure you get questions like this often so I'm thankful for your patience.
