Its not that difficult anymore just a bit time consuming. I'm an altoholic and have done the missions a few times. They removed the level caps from CoP. If you wait till 99 you can solo all of the CoP missions except 1 that requires 2 people to open a door. Dynamis got reworked. The entry fee is now a 1 time payment of 50k and you can go in everyday. I did all my Dynamis clears except for Xarc with 3 friends. And sky is the same as the others. At 99 some fights require another person or two depending on what jobs you are, but its all pretty easy.

I'm stuck on that one that takes two people to open a door. Can get dyna clears from shouts pretty easily.

Honestly the missions are tedious but if you're determined, you can get them done. Those things also actually aren't nearly as important as they used to be though, there is a ton you can do on the endgame front without advancing very far in the mission lines. They still offer nice gear and of course access to zones, but you can live without them longer.

I disagree that the missions are tedious, unless youve done them many times before and didnt enjoy them. I myself completed up to most of CoP on my old character and he got deleted so Im doing them all again on my new one and enjoying them quite a bit, especially now that you can solo them and not die countless times trying to figure certain missions out, like when promyvion first came out. I'll jump at any opportunity to help people fight the Ark Angels or the Wyverns or whatever, I think its fun.

I don't find the fights tedious, but stuff like needing to find someone to run out to the middle of nowhere with me to open a door with two keys is pretty tedious. I also don't care for running all over the earth/waiting till JP midnight/waiting for a full moon when it's not raining or w/e to get a cutscene, personally. The battles are cool though.

Loved this CS:
