Steam overlay work for FFXI?Follow

Just saw that FFXI is on sale for Steam and was wondering if the overlay browser works in FFXI fullscreen (not windowed)? It'd be the only reason I'll get it and don't wanna waste $10 to figure out it doesn't work.

Guess no one knows? Tried asking in the official and Steam forums and no answer there either.

Just buy it from SE. From what I understand you need to dl pol viewer from SE cause it wont work through Steam dl. As for Win8, it has problems running something on FFXI. Have to find the thread I read that in. Upgrade to Win7.

Naw, XI runs just fine on WIn 8. Windower, however, takes a lot of massaging to get to work.
