Hey fellow ex Midgardsormr'ians! from Lazyduck(LD)Follow

Hellow fellow Midgard'ians(ex players/friends from Midgardsormr), I'm Lazyduck(LD). I played on Midgard until 2008 when I decided to quit because I got to where I wanted in the game and my schedule really didn't allow more time for the grinding-esque nature of the game. Even though, its been many years since then, the memories and the friends I have of FFXI those days, I will never forget. I find myself recounting the adventures I had in Vana'diel all the time. It's weird I've tried my hands at different games but nothing beats the grip FFXI had on me. Regardless, I guess should have done this(thread) some time ago. I just want to give a shout out, to the following people, who I remember most and I thank for everything. I still have you guys in my heart and hope to see you all one day:

I hope you are all well and happy.

Anyways, I've been really wanting to play FFXIV but found out it has been a huge disappointment on its initial release.

But I was also happy to find out that they were going to attempt to remake it.

In the meantime, I've decided because my schedule has allowed it, to play FFXI again until FFXIV 2.0's release.
I've since found that the Migardsormr server has been merged and the game has changed quite abit. This has tempted to play again.

I'm not sure if any of my fellow Midgardsormr friends still play, but if you do and would like to catch up, send me a PM on this forum.

I hope I will get to see all you guys again on FFXIV or FFXI.

Yes! Thank you for that, how is the Server like population wise?

Actually Goldfish was a LS I started a long long time ago. At one point it was probably the servers largest but due to some dramas and probably mismanagement the LS broke into another one "Friendships" with Freia but that's a story from Yonksss ago.
