Upping the speed of chocobos wouldn't hurt too while they're at it.
It's not that they're slow but they're not exactly that fast either. I enjoy riding one from time to time and even raised my own bird but it wouldn't hurt anyone if they were a tad faster. Everyone's using warps anyway.
