Aww... I am a new player on Bahamut. I am lvl 60 and already have completed a lot so no way am i restarting. But could you help me out maybe on this forum with a question? How does one go about making gil? I have like less than 10k and cannot even upgrade my spells and songs (60BRD/30SCH)

I probably could be considered subpar considering I have done 0 void watch, 0 NNI, 0 Legion, really have not progressed at all over the past 2 years. As for validation for myself? Maybe you are right, maybe it is some sort of validation I seek

I also just came back. Last night as a matter of fact. Played off and on from 2005. Was a member in a linkshell that went away years ago, then the rest of the ones I knew went to XIV. Since I play mostly on a XBOX 360 (please excuse slow chat typing ha ha) and some on my pc I wanted to stay in XI. I was on Garuda and now Laksmi and really never got too far along. I was jonesing for a good old fashioned D&D style RPG and so decided to return to FFXI.

I'm still fairly low level (highest is 49 WAR) but have several jobs leveled to 20's and 30's. Rank 5 (from SanDy), and of course looking for help/parties to move storyline along. Really would like to get into a LS that will re acclimate me to the game and get me growing again. My biggest obstacle was time to be involved, I have a little more time these days and especially through the winter. I can be on most weeknights (EST) but not usually a Fri-Sat, although through the winter may have more weekends (we'll see).

Mageoholic I might be on for a little bit tonight, but tomorrow night for sure. I'll see if you're around if you don't mind.

I am sorry my playtime is wonky right now due to work. We are poulling extra hours trying to finish a build out before christmas shutdown so It is really up in the air. I will usually be on once a day or so after I get it, which should be about 11PMEST most days but lately has been more like 1:30-2 EST.

But come the 17th or so I should be on for a couple weeks. I will be trying to get everyone a pearlsack as soon as I can so I you can invite your friends and such, and hopefully there will be more people available to also extend shells to everyone.

To be honest I didn't quite expect the number of people interested to be so high and admittedly did not prepare for the shell to take off as well as it has in the first week or so. So I am sorry that I have been slow to get everyone but I will be able to do more in the next week or so. Please be patient as I will get to you when I can.

in the meantime I believe Tijet is doing school stuff so his playtime is also wonky, but you could seek out Landlubber he has a pearlsack and should be able to give you a pearl. (please understand Landlubber is a new returnee to the game and may not be able to meet you in certain areas, or in a speedy manner but he should be able to assist you.)

I will be on for a couple of hours this morning, I will search for people and promote sacks for those online, those with sacks I would greatly appreciate any assistance in recruiting interested people if you wouldn't mind.

It would seem that I am still only able to stay connected for 15-20 minutes at a time. I thought I solved the problem but apparently not. If anyone knows how to fix this I would be greatly appreciative. It seems to only affect FFXI, Whenever I am connected to it my computer drops connection, when I am not my computer holds connection fine. Is this a fire wall issue or a port issue? (do I need to reinstall FFXI.) I use steam is it something to do with that?

I thought It was just a network issue originally but I checked it out on saturday and I only lose connection when playing FFXI, It is up all the time otherwise. (also never had this problem before, only since a few weeks ago.)

I had a similar issue a while back. It turned out to be a bad modem. I only noticed it on FFXI, but I think it had to do with when I was surfing the web, it would be idle a lot and go unnoticeable. I only noticed it when I needed a constant connection with something like a game. Not sure this is your problem but I thought I'd throw it out there.
