Red Weakness TriggeringFollow

#1 Oct 26 2012 at 11:27 AM Rating: Decent
Correct me if I'm wrong but everything I read an axe does not create red weakness trigger in Abyessa. I have two axes Astoifo pet eva +22 and Guichard +2 pet damage -10%
I see nothing on elemental weapon skills for those axes. I solo most of the time and it seems my only option would be to skill up dagger. Dagger skill at 215 right now. Dagger skill ups are a pain and time consuming. If that's the case where would be my best bet to skill dagger to 300.
Thanks

It is indeed the case.

I've had good luck with skillups on the mandragoras in Tahrongi. Just need to build red on some Ephemeral clionids if you plan on trying for TEs via azure before you start slaughtering, and then watch out for Iratham. Pop a skill up food and commence the killing.

I want to try the mandy camp in Misareax Coast, to see if it's less dangerous, but since I haven't personally tested it I can't say whether it's any good or not.

While beastmaster can use Scythe, Club, Dagger, & Sword. They don't natively get any of the red procs. If you're going for the dagger procs make sure you always sub dnc. As for skilling up I would pick up some low level, low delay daggers and you can fight Soot Crabs in Zeruhn up til like 280-290 skill then move to Korroloka Tunnel and fight Lacerator's until 360+.

I soloed my Almace using BST/WAR, which can cover 7/13 red staggers:

Sword: Red Lotus Blade & Seraph Blade
Staff: Earth Crusher and Sunburst (latter requires staff merits)
Scythe: Shadow of Death
Polearm: Raiden Thrust (requires a Pitchfork)
Club: Seraph Strike
