The thing is i saw it on steam a collectors edition and im thinking about coming back being exsighted for FF14 when it gets revamped but is it really worth coming back are the servers still populated to a reasonable amount so its not a ghost town?
and is it still party all the time because i heard they addid a meens for vet's to delevel to noobies like me to help out if they can?

the way i look at it usealy if a game fails the company will just drop it due to cost but SE has stuck with it to me thats good enuth reason to give it a 2nd chance and judgeing by the improvements i feel it may be successful this time and hey gotta take risks dont we :)

ok reading other post im starting to fear this game now :( because i lack any info from what the game has become i dont want people to start screaming "your a total noob get out" like in other games if anyone could direct me to how i could be better at this game i would be most thankful.
I popped into XIV last night to take a screenshot for the writing contest and I was all like "holy sh*t Atomos is eating aetheryte crystals and there's airships in the sky and the moon is about to crash into us wtf happened last patch?!"
Yeah, I'm excited about XIV too.
FFXI's collection is $20 on Steam or Amazon, which comes with the first month free, well worth it. It'll be 2-3 months before XIV is available for sale again. They're in alpha testing of the new systems at the moment.
Just find a good linkshell here on the ZAM forums before you pick a server, and you'll be having fun in XI in no time. And if you turn out to hate it, you're only out twenty bucks and you can wait til Jan or Feb for XIV to see if you like it any better.
