Hi i really want to play this game but new copies cost much. But i found a used copy of the ultimate collection for a decent price on ebay, and pretty sure the code wont work. So i know i would have to buy the pc version too, new of course. Would they send the codes by email, and i can enter it on to the xbox 360 version? plz help really want to play
Yes, you would be able to do the SE account stuff online, and still be able to play on either PC or XBOX360.
You can get the PC version from Steam usually for $20 (includes all expansions and add-ons) , and apply the codes from that to your account. You get the codes from the steam account page. You need to create a Square-Enix account at the SE account management site, then you can play that account on any platform you wish ( PC, Xbox or PS2).

ok lets say i bought the used copy for the 360 nd i buy the on for steam do i have to install the pc version to apply codes or can i just enter them in the xbox one instead because i dont want to DL on pc because it might take for ever
No you wont. Just pause the download and right click xi in your steam games window and select view game codes.
The ultimate collection abyssea edition comes with two codes though. One for the game and one for an ingame item. The code list has them labeled.

Doubtful unless they've had the box on the shelf for like three years, but also they never made an Abyssea edition box (was Steam/Amazon/Direct2Drive only).

yea but at the gmaestop the box says no disc available so im guessin the receipt will have all the codes?
