Tarutaru don't have knees. They don't even have bones. I happen to know for a fact that they're supported by a system of fluid-filled bladders. Why else would they be so short?

This is also why roast tarutaru is considered a delicacy by galkas.

Given the mentioned jobs of interest, I'd say taru is the winner. While you've got some people arguing race doesn't matter with the right gear, I disagree, as you're unlikely to be seeing a galka giving up INT/MATK for more MP even if it led to a higher number of possible nukes due to their diminished MP pool. STR may be the least significant of the pertinent race perks, but stuff like DEX and max MP can be big.

Socially, expect to be punted or inferred to as dinner if you do make the choice for taru.

Can hop to another job that can use it, eat the food, then change back to a job that can't equip it. Not that this is worth doing, raw food effect lasting all of five minutes.
