Having trouble with playonline plz help :(Follow

I cant log in into playonline :( it says ID:(my id) and i have to insert my playonline password but when i insert it(the one they sended me via email) it says incorrect password. i try to change it in settings to another one and it didnt work. also i try with the square enix account and did not work :( anyone can help me?

I don't know if you had your passwords reset by Square Enix at some point or something, but the passwords are ones you would have made, not any sent to you. I know back when I had set up my Playonline ID and later my Square Enix ID, I had to come up with my own passwords. They aren't supplied by Square Enix, and since I wouldn't assume that anything in those regards have changed, the password you should be using is one you created.

When I came back to the game I had this happen to me.

First, double check your ID is correct. Next, really check your password is the right one. The one they sent you via e-mail will be temporary. You should change it as soon as you can.

If after checking it doesn't work, my advice is to get in touch with their customer service department. They should be able to remotely reset the password for you, just like before.

well i havent used my credit card yet. do i need to pay first in order to keep going?

You will need to buy a "Content ID " from the Square-enix account management. Also remember there is a SE ID and password, and POL ID and password. This whole process is more confusing than it needs to be.

Yes , you will need a Square-Enix account. When you have that set up, log in and go to > services> FFXI> . There should be an option to buy a content id in there somewhere.

can you show me like step by step? :) and sorry im such a noob hehe i went to service>ffxi and it says insert code (which i already did. active service account or transfer service account

Go to > select service > POL/FFXI > under active service accounts click on "options list", follow instructions from there to obtain a new character.

The member name is something you would have picked when you first start POL. It's just a way to have multiple people play their characters/ account on the same PC{not at the same time}. I so totaly agree with you, I was hacked a year ago. I can not get my account up and running again, its been over a year and no one has helped from SE at all. I am disabled. I cant use my hands and trying to relay instructions to my partner, a non player is impossible. Good luck to you and anyone attempting to reup.Smiley: oyvey
