Where the chips stack in our favor is that we see these posts crop up frequently (there is even one started by "ThePatrician" 3 hours after you started this) and eventually the usual suspects start showing up talking about how 6 man parties taught us so much, that renkei making was somehow the epitomy of skill and challenge in this game, and they quit because Abyssea ruined their game of standing around in level 75 armor that was 6 years old.
This has been done to death. Post in your sever forums or ask people in game. Better yet, do a poll in Port Jeuno. 99% of the people will laugh at you but you don't care about that because you have thick skin and by golly you're going to get people their accomplishments. Good for you. The 1% of people you're after will join and you'll be happy.
We see your post frequently around here and we're worried that SE will think this is what a majority of people want to return to because they have a knack for taking the least relevant, least common denominator and then taking that and suggesting it is what players want (e.g., NeoEvoliths + about 6 other Neos).
Good luck on your endeavors. Please be cognizant of the fact that SE takes public postings and turns them into "OHHHH so this is what the playerbase wants!", where "this" = some things that most of us who have actively played the game this whole time and aren't fair weather subscribers actually do not want.

I know tons of players are totally against the idea of a old school LS, but there is still a few of us who like the idea. There is nothing wrong with the way someone wants to play, everyone is different. I wish there was a way to transfer servers I would love a LS like that, but the server's I have seen being advertised in these forums I havent been lucky enough for one of them to be mine. If there is any LS like that on the Siren server I would love to know about them.

Obviously I didnt know that it was possible to do so. But now that I do it seems like a good idea to go to one of these LS. No idea why you couldnt just respond normal then just trying to be a ***. Never understand your types, so negative.

Ditto. I went to it once, looked around, saw a bunch of people with entirely too much time their hands classify and quantifying every single form of media to the point of absurdity and left. I haven't been back since.

I totally get what MC is saying. I left when the cap went to 80. Someone said lots of people left because it took hours and hours to get anything done. I don't think that's true I think they left because the game started to change to much when aby came out. I only read the first 10 post on this thread so I'm not educated on what everyone said but I know raelix is an elitist dumb ****. People want to return to how they remember it when it was good. As for raelix comments on ohat being a waste of time, are you serious what's an mmo?
